When i went back, I literally had 100 notifications from even more users that spammed slotbot on me! I want to know, is grabbing ip's illegal, and how can I make sure that other people are not able to get my ip address on discord anymore, because its getting bad. I must say, after a 2 days of constant spamming, it got boring, so I went afk for a couple of days. My friend then showed me a bot that gets ip addresses, so I went back to the server, and got the people that were shooting me for the past 4 days ip addresses. I've used it since the past 2 weeks after my friend showed me how to do it, because even though i left the main server, slothub, there are still users there that are attacking me! I was very confused and searched it up, and then I found out about ip addresses. Basically, you can have a ~shoot or ~attack, and it takes your virtual money away. I'm going to be honest here, I've used ip to use this bot called Slotbot against. And for everyone else, if you see a server with a private bot, you may want to look around to see if they posted about what they are collecting with it. I will not go into details, but you can get a lot of information, as well as get into a lot of trouble if you don't set the bot up or advertise its collection of such info in your server. When they do, your computer will get the user ID and information of that user. Host that bot on your own computer, give that bot a feature that the user wants to interact with. As for getting that info from discord, its easy. Regardless of what country or city or world you live on.

The owner has the control and in all that paperwork you did not read when you got your internet and phone state this very information.

For the normal user, you IP address may be you online address, but its like a rental. In that case, you have some additional protections that come with it. If you do, you know you do because you pay for it.

Very few people have a dedicated IP address, which is one that never changes. It is owned by you internet service provider and even then, they may not even own it. There is a difference though, no ONE owns their IP.
